Pence Joins GE Aviation For Groundbreaking

Governor Mike Pence joined GE Aviation executives for a groundbreaking ceremony in Lafayette. The company broke ground on the 100-million dollar plant that will eventually produce jet engines, on Monday. The GE Aviation facility is slated to open by 2016 and could start hiring workers as soon as next year. The investment is expected to make about  200 new jobs  at $75,000 a piece by the year 2020.
