Pierceton Man Arrested In Syracuse After Foot Pursuit

KCSD Press Release – Officers from several agencies were involved in the foot pursuit and subsequent arrest of a wanted suspect from Whitley County yesterday, in the town of Syracuse. Kosciusko County Drug Task Force units, along with officers from Syracuse, Indiana State Police, and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, attempted to apprehend an individual, identified as Kevin Michael Hall, 39, Pierceton, yesterday in the town of Syracuse.  Hall fled from a semi-tractor/trailer and led officers on a brief foot-pursuit until Indiana State Police Troopers deployed their Taser immobilization device.  Hall was taken into custody at approximately 12:04 p.m. on the initial charge of a felony probation violation warrant that had been previously issued from Whitley County.  Officers advised that they will be forwarding their investigation to Kosciusko County Prosecutor Dan Hampton for review and other potential charges involved in the incident & arrest.  The Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office advises that the defendant’s charge is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
