Plastic bags are not allowed for bagging lawn waste, including leaves within the City of Warsaw. Loose leaf pick-up is scheduled to begin next week, and residents can simply rake their leaves to the curb.
Residents may pick up five free paper bags per month for the remainder of this year at the Public Works Department, 794 West Center Street, Warsaw. Please bring an ID to verify your residency within the city. If additional paper bags are needed, they are available at several local stores for purchase.
Bags cannot weigh more than 40 pounds each.
