At 10:55pm on Wednesday, Elkhart County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a shooting that occurred at a residence located at 22775 Falcon Ct. in Elkhart. Upon officers’ arrival, one subject was found deceased at the home and another subject was transported to the Elkhart General Hospital by ambulance for injuries received during this incident. The scene has been made safe and Sheriff’s Detectives are continuing their investigation into this incident. During a mid-morning news conference on Thursday, Elkhart County Sheriff's Captain Jim Bradberry said investigators are talking to persons-of-interest in the case.
