Poly-Wood In Syracuse Plans To Double In Size

A Syracuse business has plans to double in size. Last night, at the Syracuse Town Council, final tax abatement approval was received to double the size of the company from 230 to 480 employees by building a 300,000 sq. ft. state-of-the art manufacturing building. Poly-Wood will invest $23.275 million to construct and equip the new manufacturing and warehousing facility. The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered Poly-Wood, Inc. up to $1.8 million in conditional tax credits based on the company’s job creation plans. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives.
