Ribbon Cutting Today at WCS Student Activity Center

Warsaw Community Schools is getting set to formerly open up the new Student Activity Center at Warsaw High School later this morning.

A ribbon cutting for the newly constructed 59,500-square foot facility will happen at 11:15 with an open house to follow until noon. School officials said in a press release that the new facility was conceptualized following a realization for the need of significant change in order to promote the wellness of students, staff and the community.

Construction of the facility was helped with a grant from the K21 Health Foundation, which totaled just over $333,000.

Those attending will instantly be able to recognize the new addition by the “W” markings along the building’s exterior.
