MARSHALL COUNTY — A 72-year-old Rochester woman died in a crash late Wednesday afternoon in Marshall County.
The head-on collision happened around 3:30 p.m. on State Road 110 and US 31 just north of the Fulton County line.
Police believe a 2018 Chevrolet driven by Sharon Roth, 72, of Fulton County, crossed US 31 attempting to travel eastbound on State Road 110.
Roth turned into the direct path of a 2021 Ford driven by Marija Bilic, 45, of Jenison, Michigan. Also in the Ford was a juvenile passenger, Indiana State Police said.
Roth died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
