Russell Foreman Jr.

Russell Foreman Jr., 70, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away at 11:25 PM on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at  Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Russell was born July 20, 1952, in Warsaw, Indiana the son Russell Foreman Sr. and Peggy (Hedington) Foreman-Holmes. He was united in marriage to Vickie (Kauffman) Foreman on March 26, 1977, in Warsaw.

He worked for Explorer Van from 1980 to 2020 with 40 years of service. Russell enjoyed camping and fishing. He loved to sing karaoke especially country music. He was known to be well spirited and show great kindness to everyone. He cherished the time he spent with his family and friends. He was a member of the VFW, Moose Lodge, and the American Legion.

Russell will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years Vickie Foreman of Warsaw; daughter Jamie Foreman-Hecke of Warsaw;  2 grandsons Cameron Alexander and Aaron Hecke, 2 great grandsons Maxton Hecke and Jessie Alexander; brothers: Nick Foreman (companion Ron Haas) of Fort Wayne, Tony Foreman of Pierceton, Rocky Holmes of Indianapolis, Terry (Chris) Holmes of Warsaw, and John (Peggy) Holmes of Palestine; sisters, Jessie (Troy) Aker of Kissimmee, FL, Connie Holmes of Bourbon, and Janie Holmes of Indianapolis. In addition, Russell is survived by nephew-brother Noble (Kim) Pulsipher of Warsaw, mother-in-law Mable Kauffman, sister-in-law Tina (Raymond) Truex both of Warsaw and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in passing by  two sisters Beverly Pulsipher and Rosalee Riddle, and one brother Kenneth Foreman. .

Funeral services in celebration of Russell’s  life will begin at 12 Noon on Wednesday August 24, 2022 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Ct. Warsaw with Pastor Mike Beasley officiating. A visitation with family and friends will be from 10:00am to 12:00 Noon in the funeral chapel prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
