RV Industry Orders Down This Summer

The RV industry suffered a setback this summer.

According to the RV Industry Association’s monthly survey, the total number of recreational vehicles shipped by manufacturers in July dropped by 11.9-percent compared to the same month a year ago. Total RV shipments ended the month at 19,948 units, which compared to the 22,633 units shipped in July 2025.

Through the first seven months of this year, shipments are down 13.9 percent, with 183,592 RVs shipped compared to 213,338 at the same point last year.

Towable RVs, led by conventional travel trailers, ended the month down 9.8 percent from last July and motorhomes finished the month down 25.6 percent compared to the same month last year.
