Samaritan helicopter lands in Warsaw to transport tree cutting accident victim

A Samaritan helicopter was flown into Warsaw late this morning to transport a man hurt in tree cutting accident.

Emergency personnel responded to the severe injury at about 10:45 a.m. on East Market Street, where they found an employee of Cut Rite Services injured from a tree falling on the equipment he was using.

The helicopter landed at Fribley Field to transport the victim to the hospital.

Warsaw-Wayne Fire, Warsaw Police and Lutheran EMS responded to the scene.
