Search Continues For Deadly Double Shooting Suspect

Police are still searching for a 23 year-old man they believe is the trigger-man in a deadly double-shooting. It happened in the1400 block of Calvert Street in South Bend just after midnight, Sunday morning, where police found 51 year-old Tony Shead, dead inside a vehicle. A woman, who was among five other people in the van, had also been shot. She was taken to the hospital and underwent surgery. She is listed in critical condition though it's believed her injuries are non life-threatening. The shooting is believed to have stemmed from a fight that happened at a party in a home about two blocks away. Police believe those inside the van were trying to escape the gunshots or bring the victims to the hospital. As for the suspect, he is identified as Erique Raggs. Metro County Homicide investigators say Raggs knew the victims.
