Sheriff Rocky Goshert Honored For Years Of Law Enforcement Service

Kosciusko County Sheriff Rocky Goshert was recently honored for his multiple years of law enforcement service during the Indiana Sheriff Association conference. Out-going Kosciusko County Sheriff W. R. (Rocky) Goshert was honored last week in Indianapolis by Indiana Sheriff Association Executive Director, Stephen Luce, along with numerous current and past Indiana sheriffs.  Goshert was provided with a plaque that denoted his previous service as an Indiana State Police Trooper from 1980 to 2001, and then subsequently a sheriff’s deputy and then a corporal from 2001 to 2006 for the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. The Indiana Sheriff’s Association was quoted in saying “The Indiana Sheriff’s Association recognizes and appreciates such distinguished service and honor that you bring to yourself, your family, your state and to all law enforcement officers of this nation.”  The lifetime award also stated “This award is presented in recognition of your sincere dedication, distinguished service, and many contributions to the law enforcement profession.
