South Bend man in custody after high-speed chase

A 46-year-old South Bend man is facing at least three felonies after leading police on a high speed chase.

AMarshall County’s Sheriff’s Deputy tried to pull over Joseph Cromey because his motorcycle looked like one used in thefts, according to our partners in news at WNDU.

Instead of getting over, Cromey sped off.

Officers were eventually able to take Cromey into custody after tasing him. They found stolen items from Marshall County and say Cromey’s bike was taken from St. Joe County.
