State Fair Jobs

The Indiana State Fair is looking to hire some temporary help for this year's event.

Fair organizers in Indianapolis say they hope to hire more than 500 seasonal workers for the 2015 event.

The State Fair will hold a job fair at the fairgrounds on May 28. Lt. Governor Sue Ellspermann will be among those interviewing the candidates.

Indiana's State Fair hires about 1,400 seasonal workers each year, and more than half of its current year-round employees began as seasonal or summer help. Ticket sellers, gate supervisors, parking attendants and maintenance and security jobs are among the openings.
