State Representative Files Formal Complaint With Election Commission

A state representative candidate has filed a formal complaint with the Indiana Election Commission.  David Kolbe filed the complaint regarding Republican nominee Curt Nisly due to several concerns surrounding the County Clerk website.  Kolbe and Nisly are squaring off in the 22nd district race, which includes most of Kosciusko County and the southern part of Elkhart County.  Kolbe's campaign representatives say Nisly secured a public contract to design, and possibly maintain the website.  Some of the issues addressed include the alleged failure to display proper information for the Clerk's office or mention the Clerk by name. Kolbe's representatives says the site acts as the home page for the Elkhart County Election Board and, until recently, provided a direct link to C-Tech and Nisly's campaign. The Kolbe campaign is asking the Indiana Election Commission to perform further investigation.
