The data revealed almost 73,000 adults and children received help and support from domestic violence programs on the day of the census and over 20,000 calls for help were answered by local, state, and national hotline staff and volunteers.

The Beaman Home says due to a lack of resources, census data shows almost 12,000 requests for service could not be met on Census Day.
