WARSAW — Kosciusko County Sheriff Jim Smith is excited to announce the hiring of Ashley Jones as a merit deputy.

Jones was born and raised in Warsaw and is a 2013 graduate of Warsaw Community High School.

She began her career in Law Enforcement in 2019 as a correctional officer at the Kosciusko
County Sheriff's Office.

Jones was then hired as a full-time Deputy Marshall in 2020 by the Town of Pierceton Police Department. While at PPD, she completed the 225th Indiana Law Enforcement Training
Academy in Plainfield in 2021.

Jones will be assigned to the patrol division and will begin her duties
on Nov. 11.
