<p>FORT MYERS BEACH, FLA. — Two men from Kosciusko County died Saturday from a gas leak in a Fort Myers Beach, Fla., home.</p>
<p>The two victims were <span style="font-weight: 400;">Mike DeWitt, 57, the former owner of The Car Company who had a home on Lake Wawasee, and Jack Faler, also a resident of the Syracuse area.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Both were found dead after neighbors contacted emergency responders about the smell of gas at about</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> 9:30 p.m. Saturday, according to information provided by the Lee County Sheriff's Office.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">DeWitt is listed as the owner of the property</span></p>
<p>Authorities believe <span style="font-weight: 400;">a disconnected pool pump exhaust was the source of the gas leak, according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Faler was lying in bed in the first-floor bedroom. Dewitt was found on the third floor in a shower, the report said.</span></p>
