WARSAW — The Warsaw Education Foundation has announced details for the upcoming 2025 Community Quiz Bowl, a one-of-a-kind team-building event that promises an evening of knowledge, fun, and friendly competition.

The annual fund-raiser is set to take place on Tuesday, March 11, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Warsaw Community High School TRAC.

This year's Quiz Bowl will transport participants to the beach, as teams from local businesses, organizations, and educators come together to compete in answering questions based on the theme, "At the Beach."

Space is limited to the first 70 teams to register.

Teams of five can secure their spot by registering online.

Snacks are provided by Lake City Bank and water is provided by Culligan Water.

For those who may not want to enter a team but still wish to support WEF, there's an
opportunity to sponsor a team. During the online registration process, participants can
choose the "TEAM SPONSOR" option to support a team of Warsaw educators.

Warsaw Education Foundation plays a crucial role in supporting grants to educators for
projects in the classroom that enrich academic excellence within Warsaw Community Schools.

Additionally, WEF supports various initiatives, including the Annual Chess Tournaments, the
N.E.W. Opportunities Workshop for Women, and the Honor an Educator program.

WARSAW — Warsaw Community Schools is proud to announce its continued partnership with the Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) Warsaw MobilePack Committee for the 7th Community-Wide Event set to take place October 21-24 at the Warsaw Community High School TRAC (Tiger Recreational Activity Center).

This year, organizers are calling on the Warsaw community to come together and pack over 1 million MannaPack meals.

This year’s theme is "Hunger Heroes."

Megan Stone, chair of the Feed My Starving Children MobilePack event, spoke at Monday's Warsaw School Board meeting and highlighted Warsaw Schools’ commitment, with over 2,000 students participating in this hands-on service effort.

Nearly 5,000 volunteers from across the community will work in teams, scooping, measuring and packing nutritious meals that will be sent to FMSC partners around the world.

Each meal costs only 29 cents, and $106 can provide a child with a meal every day for an entire year.

Community members can register, make donations, or purchase Hunger Heroes t-shirts at
warsawmobilepack.com. Each school is currently fundraising to send students to the event and individuals can donate directly to the schools’ online fundraising team.

“Together, we are Hunger Heroes,” Stone told the board.

“We look forward to coming together on October 21-24 to enrich the lives of others and make a difference by feeding bodies, feeding spirits and empowering communities.”

This year's Quiz Bowl will transport participants back to the nostalgic era of the 90s, as
teams from local businesses, organizations, and educators come together to compete
in answering questions based on the theme, "It's the 90's." The event promises to be an
exciting trip down memory lane, filled with trivia and camaraderie.

Space is limited. The Quiz Bowl can accommodate the first 70 teams to register.
