Third COVID death reported in Kosciusko County on Wednesday

A third COVID-related death has been reported in Kosciusko County.

This in the midweek update from the Kosciusko County Health Department, who did not provide any additional information regarding the death.

25 new cases were also reported between Monday at noon and Wednesday at noon, bringing the total case count up to 433.

Data continues to show a majority of cases in those ages 20-29, where 97 cases have been reported.

In Indiana’s update, 281 new cases were reported along with nine additional deaths. The state total is now up to 43,140, with the total deaths up to 2,386. 5,553 new tests were reported in the update, with 431,883 completed, reflecting that 10 percent of tests in Indiana are positive.
