Third Person Charged In Connection To Last Month’s Syracuse Murders

KCSD Press Release -Kyle David Dehart, 22, Syracuse, has been preliminarily charged with two counts of murder, along with a third charge of obstruction of justice involving last month's Syracuse murders.  He is currently in the Kosciusko County Jail.  There is no bond.  Dehart was previously arrested on February 19th regarding two outstanding Kosciusko County misdemeanor warrants. Joan DeHart, 49, of Syracuse was taken into custody Wednesday, charged with assisting a criminal. She is being held at the Kosciusko County Jail on a $10,000 surety bond. Additional information related to the new charges/warrants that were issued on Friday, March 6th, against Dehart will be available in the coming week from Kosciusko County Prosecutor Daniel Hampton.
