THURSDAY COVID UPDATE: Positive cases, deaths jump again according to ISDH

It was another big jump in numbers in the Indiana State Department of Health’s daily COVID-19 update.

An additional 42 deaths were reported in the state, bringing the state total up to 245. This includes the first death that was reported in Kosciusko County on Wednesday.

408 new cases of coronavirus were also reported, bringing the state total up to 6,351. These new numbers come from 1,264 tests that were part of the new update, with 32,133 tests being done to date.

Locally, Kosciusko County had no new cases to report. Elkhart County reported ten new cases to bring their total up to 56. Noble County reported two new cases and Wabash County had one additional case.
