WARSAW — KC Recycling is offering free tire drop-off this week at its facility in Warsaw.
The event runs through Friday.
Kosciusko County residents can bring up to eight passenger-size tires to KC Recycling during business hours at 220 S. Union St., Warsaw.
Drop off hours are 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. (with a 30-minute lunch break between 11:30 a.m. to noon) and on Friday from 7 to 11 a.m.
To participate, tires should be clean and dry. KC Recycling asks all participants to ensure their tires meet these conditions, as excessively muddy or wet tires may not be accepted.
Eligibility requirements:
• Kosciusko County residents only
• Residents must provide a valid photo ID or proof of address upon drop-off
• Up to eight passenger-size tires accepted per household
• No cost for tire collection and recycling
• Tires must be clean and dry
“We are dedicated to making recycling accessible and convenient for our community,” said Director for KC Recycling Tom Ganser. “By offering this free tire collection program to Kosciusko residents, we hope to encourage proper disposal, reduce illegal dumping, and contribute to a cleaner environment for everyone.”
