Warsaw man dead after two-car collision on U.S. 30 in Warsaw

A Warsaw man has died following a two-car collision on Friday. It happened at the intersection of U.S. 30 and County Road 150 West in Warsaw. 84-year-old Bob Walters was unconscious when first responders arrived. He was later pronounced dead at Kosciusko Community Hospital from injuries sustained in the crash.

ORIGINAL STORY:

A person had to be extricated from their vehicle and taken to the hospital after a Friday afternoon crash.

It happened at the intersection of U.S. 30 and County Road 150 West in Warsaw when two cars collided.

Both drivers were hurt and traffic on U.S. 30 was backed up for several miles.

Though a Lutheran Air helicopter was on the scene, the seriously injured driver was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
