Two Hospitalized From Crash Involving Semi



Officers from the Warsaw Police Department responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Parker Street and Lake City Highway at 3:33 p.m. Wednesday. Robert L. Dust, 85, Syracuse, told police he was traveling west on Parker Street and when he went to make a right turn, the next thing he remembered was hitting the tires of a semi truck. Both he and his passenger, Dorothy J. Baker, 89, Syracuse, were transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital due to chest and abdominal pain. The driver of the semi, Kingsley K. Ohene, 51, Cleveland, Ohio, told police he tried avoiding the collision. He did not suffer any injuries.
