Two people were injured in a crash yesterday near New Paris. It was just after 1:30pm when 32 year old Austin R. Hoover of North Webster was driving south on S.R. 15 approaching C.R. 142. A 2014 GMC Acadia driven by 34 year old Julie Ross was stopped on C.R. 142 facing east at S.R. 15. Hoover swerved his Jeep to the right to avoid colliding with another vehicle that pulled out West from CR 142. Hoover then struck the front bumper of Ross' Acadia. Both individuals were taken to IU Goshen Hospital with non life threatning injuries. Hoover was cited for driving while suspended and no proof of financial responsibility.
