KCSD Press Release – Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies responded yesterday at 4:45 p.m. to a residence in the area of the 200 block of Hunter’s Ridge, Warsaw, regarding a burglary. Officers were advised that the homeowner arrived at the residence and discovered that it had been ransacked, along with several items taken which included cash, electronics, and a 9mm handgun. Deputies were able to ascertain information from the scene that led them to a location in the 700 block of Warbler Lane, Warsaw. Officers were able to locate evidence that then guided them to the Hide-Away-Hill Mobile Home Park, 2441 West County Road 250 South, Warsaw, where two teenaged juveniles were taken into custody.
Deputies stated that during the course of the investigation, they were able to locate the stolen handgun and other items associated with the original burglary. The juveniles arrested were taken to the Pierceton Woods Academy by deputies under the authority of the Kosciusko County Probation Department.
