Two Warsaw men have been booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on burglary charges.

34-year-old Marcus Brooks and 19-year-old Anthony Rivera are accused of a scheme in which they burglarized two residences and then attempted to pawn the stolen items.

Court documents say the two force the front door open and ransacked a Warsaw home– stealing two TVs and a streaming device– on January 8. Just two days later, the two are accused of kicking the door in on another house in Warsaw, this time stealing a gaming system, games, and jewelry.

Brooks sold two televisions to a Warsaw pawn shop, according to court documents. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies found some of the other stolen items at the pawn shop as well.

Brooks and Rivera were allegedly burglarizing the homes and selling the stolen items in order to pay another man’s bills.
