A small single-engine plane crashed while making an emergency landing yesterday in Huntington County.
Despite what authorities call an amazing job of flying without power, just after 11:45 yesterday, the plane crashed into a pickup truck near US. 224 and State Road 5, about a mile from the airport.
21 Alive reports that the pilot walked away and the person in the pickup truck received minor injuries, but also survived. Officials say the pilot was able to navigate the plane safely away from danger, including power lines.
