Original Story:

Students have been evacuated at an area high school. We are still piecing details together, but right now, school officials are using the term precautionary to describe their decision to evacuate students to the schools football stadium, Kreighbaum Field, just across Jefferson Street on the northside of Huntington. Students are supervised and safe according to officials. They say quote “there is no immediate threat,” and there is no early dismissal at this time. An away sports event will go on as scheduled, but other practices are canceled. Parents are asked to check the Huntington County Community School Corporation WEBSITE.
