There will be a public meeting on Wednesday to discuss the US 30 freeway project.

The meeting will be held at Lincoln Elementary School from 7 to 8:30 PM. Officials from the city of Warsaw, Kosciusko County and six other counties have been in discussion about the project, which is said to improve safety and traffic flow along the highway.

The focus of the meeting will be to review options for the proposed freeway.  Those in attendance will have the opportunity to ask questions and comment on the project.  Elected officials will be present.

The project is said to be similar to the US 31 project that spans from South Bend to Indianapolis, where there will be limited access to the road in an effort to improve the traffic flow and safety along the highway. As this project will have a significant local impact, residents and business owners are strongly encouraged to attend and participate in this important conversation.  Community input will play a vital role towards the final project design.
