Utility pole replacement work expected to conclude this week

Staff Report

WARSAW — It appears the extensive utility pole replacement project that has been underway through much of December and led to numerous daily road closings in parts of Kosciusko County, is close to completion.

A spokesperson for Kosciusko County Highway department said NIPSCO told him they are down to one street segment that will be closed Wednesday and that they expect it to be complete on Friday.

Much of the remaining work is miscellaneous tasks, he said.

For Wednesday, the one road closing is on CR 100E from River Avenue to Barrington place, north of the Warsaw Municipal Airport.
