Valley receives grant from K21 Health Foundation for PLTW Program

Tippecanoe Valley Schools have received a grant from the K21 Health Foundation.

The district accepted the $30,000 grant at their school board meeting on Monday, which will go toward the school’s Project Lead The Way Biomedical Program. The grant will help with the curriculum, supplies and professional development in the program.

That program focuses on the opportunity for students to have exposure to college and career paths into the orthopedic and health-related fields. The program also includes engaging STEM curriculum focusing in greater detail on scientific experiences as the biomedical field continues to expand.
