Wabash Police are searching for a suspect, accused of fatally striking a pedestrian and then fleeing the scene. Police responded Saturday around 7am to Cass St. in front of Auto Zone. Police found the the victim, 38 year old Michael D. Leazenby laying dead near the street. According to yournews.com, Wabash Police are following every tip they receive in locating the suspect vehicle which struck Leazenby. The vehicle is described as a white or light colored mini van. The vehicle should have front end damage with the possibility of the passenger side headlight damaged or missing.
