A local eagle scout was recognized on Tuesday at the Kosciusko County Commissioners for earning all merit badges possible in the Boy Scouts.

Jeffery Naundorf-Miller is a member of Boy Scout Troop 715 and has earned all 137 merit badges possible, and is now one of 475 others nationally to accomplish such a feat and is the first locally to do so.

Kosciusko County Commissioner Bob Conley read off Naundorf-Miller’s plaque which read: “Kosciusko County Commissioners, be it known, that on the 3rd day of August, 2021, we, the Kosciusko County Board of Commissioners do hereby acknowledge Jeffrey Naundorf-Miller as an outstanding citizen of Kosciusko County and an exemplary Boy Scout. His achievement in earning 137 Merit Badges is an example to the future Scouts of stellar performance and dedication to his Troop and his leadership in Boy Scouts of America.”

Warsaw Mayor Joe Thallemer also congratulated him through a letter.

Naundorf-Miller recently graduated from Warsaw and is currently studying at Ivy Tech.
