A Warsaw man is facing charges after police allege he kicked his girlfriend down a flight of stairs.
44-year-old Timothy Ray Ruggles is facing felony charges of domestic battery in the presence of child, domestic battery causing moderate bodily injury and a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.
According to police, on Oct. 23, a woman told police she got into an argument with Ruggles at a home in Warsaw.
She said Ruggles kicked her, which caused her to fall down a flight of stairs.
Ruggles had left the residence by the time police arrived.
A warrant was issued for Ruggles’ arrest Oct. 31 and he was arrested Tuesday morning.
He is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail. Bond was set at $6,000.
