A Warsaw man was arrested after he fled the Kosciusko County Justice Building while being held on a probation violation.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office says 35-year old Ryan Prater was in the county probation office, where officials found out that Prater was wanted on an arrest warrant for violating his probation. As court security responded to take Prater to the jail for booking, he fled the building.

Police later located Prater near the Zimmer Hotel and took him back into custody. He now faces a new charge of fleeing arrest on top of his probation warrant.
