Warsaw man arrested for strangling girlfriend

A Warsaw man is behind bars for allegedly strangling his girlfriend New Year’s Day.

It happened around 1 a.m. Sunday in the 2400 hundred block of 19th Road in Tippecanoe, according to our partners at WNDU.

Officers from the Marshall County Police Department and Bourbon Police Department were dispatched for a female who was allegedly beaten by a male subject. The woman sustained serious injuries.

Officers found that Davin Kitson, 25, of Warsaw, had strangled and battered his girlfriend causing serious injury to her.

Kitson was booked into the Marshall County Jail for battery resulting in serious bodily injury and strangulation.   His bond was set at $1,500.
