Warsaw Police car damaged after assisting with State Police pursuit

A police pursuit caused damage to a Warsaw Police SUV on Wednesday night.

It started in North Webster, and Warsaw PD began assisting the Indiana State Police near County Road 450 E and U.S. 30.

It ended when the driver tried to run away near the intersection of North County Road 175 E and Kosciusko Drive.

32-year-old Jared Borkholder of Goshen was arrested on preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement, battery on law enforcement, and possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and paraphernalia.

Warsaw Detective Ryan Coble tells the Times Union that the officer involved in the crash is OK.
