Warsaw Public Arts Commission sponsoring Walk-n-Wander photo contest

The Warsaw Public Arts Commission is sponsoring a photo contest as part of the Walk-n-Wander exhibit of Seward Johnson sculptures.

Photos are being accepted until September 28 and judging will take place September 30. The winners will be announced at the November 4th First Friday event.

Photographs will be on display at the Latte Lounge during the month of October.  Cash prizes totaling $1,375, plus a $100 framing certificate provided by Cox Studio will be awarded.

Contest forms can be picked up at Lakeland Art Center & Gallery at 302 E Winona Ave. and downtown Warsaw businesses.

The mission of the Warsaw Public Arts Commission is to develop Warsaw as an engaging place to live, work and play through increasing awareness of the arts for all ages.  By bringing art events such as the “All New” Walk-n-Wander 2016 to the Warsaw Community the Commission is making an opportunity for community members and visitors to enjoy strolling among the Seward Johnson life size bronze sculptures.

If you wish to help the Warsaw Public Arts Commission continue with future art projects, donations may be made to the Artfully Warsaw Fund at the Kosciusko County Community Foundation, online at kcfoundation.org/donate or call 574-267-1901.
