Warsaw radio stations to conduct radiothon for Feeding America on Thursday

Kensington Digital Media of Indiana announced today that it will be broadcasting the “Radio Cares: Feeding America Emergency Radiothon” on Thursday.

The program will be a one-day fundraising event benefiting Feeding America, the largest hunger relief organization in the United States. All funds raised on Thursday will go to Feeding America to support its 200 member network of local food banks, which includes the Food Bank of Northern Indiana, which helps support local food banks like Combined Community Services and The Salvation Army of Kosciusko County.

The radiothon will start at midnight on Thursday and go through 11:59 PM on all three Kensington stations which include Classic Hits 107.3 WRSW, Willie 103.5 and News Now Warsaw.

Feeding America established the COVID-19 Response Fund on March 13th. Since then, Feeding America has distributed $112.4 million and over 94 million pounds of food to food banks across the U.S., helping provide nearly 79 million meals to people facing hunger.
