The Salvation Army of Kosciusko County has responded to the needs presented by the COVID-19 pandemic since its inception in February of 2020.  Services are provided with a drive-up system at the Office and Choice Pantry located at 622 North Ellsworth Street in Warsaw.

Unfortunately in early November three staff tested positive for the coronavirus and all operations were shut down on the 9th at the direction of health officials.  “We are sorry for any inconvenience this caused but we had not choice as safety and health come first,” noted Envoy Ken Locke, Corps Administrator.  “We appreciate everyone’s support as we are now getting things open again.”  Operations were resumed on Monday, November 23rd from 9 am to Noon and 1-3 pm, Monday to Friday, with the Choice Pantry hours of 9 to 11:30 am.

“We are going to be behind on Angel Tree this year so we are asking everyone’s patience,” Locke continued.  “Forms can be downloaded from www.sawarsaw.org.”  The Salvation Army is conducting it 99th Annual Christmas Campaign and is in need of volunteers to ring bells who are asked to go to www.registertoring.com to sign up.
