On Friday, March 13th, Dr. Hoffert announced that Warsaw Community Schools will close on Monday, March 16th through Spring Break (April 6-10). A calendar and eLearning plan has been created. Additional details including a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document may be found on the district website.

There are many questions surrounding the COVID-19 virus and its impact on Warsaw Community Schools. Please know that WCS is actively monitoring the situation on an hourly basis and we will continue to share information and update content regularly. As a school system, WCS understands the responsibility to be open when conditions allow. This could mean adjustments to shorten or lengthen this schedule as needs change.

WCS recognizes that while this situation is not ideal for students, staff or parents, it is important for the health and safety of our overall community. WCS has used eLearning on multiple occasions and are confident that this experience will be as successful as possible, given the circumstances. Dr. Hoffert thanks everyone for their continued support of Warsaw Community Schools.

Also, sincere thanks to all the dedicated people at the Kosciusko County Health Department, the City of Warsaw, the WCEA, Warsaw Community School Board and staff at Warsaw Community Schools who have been working tirelessly to prepare and plan for students and families.
