A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for Kosciusko, Fulton, Marshall, Elkhart, Lagrange, LaPorte, Starke, Pulaski, and St. Joseph Counties.

The National Weather Service warns that wind chills as low as -20 are expected. This could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Experts recommend wearing a hat and gloves when going outside while the advisory is in effect.

Though the Advisory is scheduled to end at 1 p.m., forecasters say windy conditions and lows around zero degrees will lead to bitterly cold wind chills tonight into Friday morning.
