Worker At Pizza Shop In Dyer Calls In Fake Bomb Threat

Police in Dyer say a woman working at a pizza place texted a fake bomb threat to a co-worker in hopes of getting the rest of the day off. 18-year-old Ashley N. Keichinger of Dyer has been charged with false information and intimidation. An employee at Doreen's Pizzeria in Dyer called police earlier this month after getting messages from a number he didn't know. One message threatened to “blow up the place” if the employee didn't have workers leave by 3 o'clock. Detectives traced the number to a messaging app. According to the police report, Keichinger admitted sending the messages because she hoped the restaurant would close for the day.
