Wrong-way driver sentenced to 8 years for deadly crash

It’s eight years in prison for a man who prosecutors say caused a wrong-way crash that claimed a man’s life.

53-year-old Russell Stull pleaded guilty last month to causing death while operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

The crash happened back in March when Stull drove the wrong-way on U.S. 31 and collided with a vehicle driven by Stephen Pletcher.

According to court documents, Stull’s blood alcohol level was around three times the legal liimt.

Stull also pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana.
