WARSAW — Zimmer Biomet and Grace College today announced that Zimmer Biomet will donate its current global headquarters building on East Main Street in Warsaw to Grace College.
Grace College will gain ownership of the building in early 2027, advancing its commitment to STEM education and orthopedic innovation through its Catalyst Corridor project. This project is supported by a grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. as part of its College and Community Collaboration initiative.
Zimmer Biomet will relocate its global headquarters across town to 1800 W. Center Street in Warsaw — the largest orthopedic manufacturing facility in the world.
The move brings the company’s global headquarters under the same roof as its most expansive manufacturing operation, deepening the connection between strategic decision-making and the advanced manufacturing and engineering capabilities that have defined Zimmer Biomet for decades.

This donation to Grace College is a token of our gratitude to the community that helped build us into one of the largest medical technology companies in the world. The 345 E. Main Street facility, known as Building 3, has served as Zimmer Biomet’s global headquarters since 2001.
Zimmer Biomet will maintain a presence in the building, as will Plug and Play, the global innovation platform that connects startups with leading corporations. The continued presence of organizations such as Zimmer Biomet and Plug and Play reflects the forward-looking, innovation-driven environment that Grace College envisions for the facility.

Jeff Grose, Mayor of Warsaw, praised the announcement as a testament to the strength of the city’s orthopedic ecosystem.

Grace College, located in neighboring Winona Lake, has expanded its academic programs in recent years to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in the orthopedic and medical technology sectors, including the addition of its orthopedic MBA. Zimmer Biomet’s donation is expected to serve as a catalyst for the college’s continued growth in these areas.
