A motorcyclist was injured Tuesday afternoon when a van turned into his path in Goshen, marking the 5th motorcycle crash in Elkhart County in just 9 days. It happened at 1:48 p.m. near the intersection of SR 13 and CR 34. Police say 44-year old Terry Fry of LaGrange was traveling south on SR 13 when his Honda motorcycle collided with a van. The driver of the van, 54 year old Nannie Peachey of Howe, had been traveling east on CR 34 and was cited for failure to yield after turning onto SR 13, into the path of Fry. Fry was flown to Memorial Hospital in South Bend with a severe leg injury. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He was cited for operating a motorcycle without the proper license endorsement.
