The OWI arrest of South Bend Common Council member Henry Davis Jr. has many people wondering if that will get him kicked off the council. And the answer is no. Since he's only been charged with misdemeanors, it's highly unlikely. In Davis Jr's case, he's only charged with misdemeanor OWI. Some of his constiuents say his arrest has nothing to do with his work as a councilman. Court documents say Davis registered .14 on a breath test. Davis is due in court on August 11th.
