63 new COVID-19 deaths reported by state as Indiana nears 1,000 deaths

Indiana is nearing 1,000 COVID-19 related deaths following Wednesday’s update from the state.

The Indiana State Department of Health says 63 more deaths were reported to officials, bringing the state total up to 964. Overall, 605 new COVID cases were reported, raising the state total to 17,182. These come as 4,503 new tests were reported, and Indiana now has had 91,550 tests completed.

Officials also reported today that the “probable COVID related” deaths went up 10 to 101.
